I am a writer, patient advocate, and a passionate supporter of healthcare reform. My solid academic foundation includes a B.S. in Biology and Psychology from Santa Clara University with a minor in Public Health, fortified by a medical writing certificate from Harvard Medical School. I have cultivated a comprehensive understanding of medical terminology and research methodologies in clinical medicine.

I was diagnosed with the auto-immune disease ulcerative colitis(UC) when I was in high school, and I have lived with the condition for over 15 years. It has strengthened my resilience and passion to improve our healthcare system by putting patient care before profits. This is my hope.
